Rolling Over
Wednesday, January 21st, 20093 Months Old!
Friday, January 16th, 2009Well Ben turned 3 months old on 1st January 2009, although he was actually 13 weeks then! We can officially say he was born last year. Not really sure where the last 3 months have gone. Ben was last weighed on Friday 9th January and he weighed 15lb 2oz so he is doing really well and is pretty much the average weight for his age.
Ben has really found his voice now and shouts and babbles a lot now, sometimes we can’t even hear the television over his loud voice! He always has his legs in the air now and he is a right wriggle bum! When on his tummy he can push up on his arms, hold his head up for a while now and have a good look around.
Just before Christmas Ben slept right through the night, and apart from the odd one or two he has done ever since, we all go to bed about 10:30pm and Ben usually wakes us up about 7am, so not bad at all. Can’t wait until he goes to bed earlier!!!
Ben’s 1st Christmas
Friday, January 16th, 2009We can’t believe it was his 1st Christmas already! The time has flown since he was born and he has grown so much. As he was only 2 1/2 months old over Christmas he still wasn’t very aware of what was going on, even though he had the most presents. The day did seems to tire him out though as we attempted to open his presents with him on several occasions, only for him to keep falling asleep. I guess the excitement was too much! haha
Like I said above, Ben got loads of presents and thanks go out to everyone who sent a present or money for him. It is much appreciated!
His many presents included a Tumble Time Tigger, a travel cot, a Walker, lots of lovely clothes, cuddly toys and a special present from Santa, an Everton sleep suit and vest.
Here are some pics from the day -

2nd Set Of Jabs – Tuesday 30th December
Thursday, January 15th, 2009Ben was a very brave boy and hardly cried at all. As before, he had to have jabs in both legs, which caused a bit of bleeding but nothing too serious. He hardly cried at all which was brilliant of him, although the areas where the jabs were done were a bit tender for the rest of the day. This meant we had to be a bit more careful when lifting or playing with him, as we didn’t want to put pressure on the wrong place. Unlike the first set of jabs he had, he didn’t really get sleepy for the rest of the day. He was up and around as usual! The next set of jabs are at the end of January, but this time there has to be three, which may cause him to cry a bit more, as that won’t be very nice at all.
